Equity release is a way of taking the capital from your home either to spend as you wish or to buy an income you can use towards a more comfortable retirement – or both. There are many schemes available so ideally you will have done some reading up on them and are now ready to find out more.  

Many people take out these schemes without advice even though equity release is a lifetime commitment.
